I'm sure some of you thought, "Another baby?" This "baby" did not take nine months to create. However, it was a labor of love. And, I am praying that God will use it to impact people for His Kingdom, which is how I pray for my literal children.

Today I want to announce my newest release, But God: A 40-Day Devotional Challenge for Improved Mental Health from a Biblical Perspective. I know the sub-title is lengthy, but the way everything works online these days is via algorithms and keywords. However, the whole purpose of the book is to draw your attention to the title—But God.

It doesn't matter what you are going through, God can use it for your good. It doesn't matter what huge sin you committed, God can wash you white as snow. It doesn't matter the extent of the trauma you've experienced, God can bring you through it and heal you. In other words, thinking rightly about Him is the key to living victoriously regardless of our circumstances.

If you are a Christian, you might know this in your head. You have this knowledge. You know the right words to say when someone else is going through a trial. However, when you are the one struggling, it is hard to remember the truth. Our trials eclipse the Son. On the other hand, if you aren't a Christian, then you have no idea what freedom lies in following Christ. You don't know the comfort of knowing God and who He says you are.

This devotional book focuses on four main topics:

  • Who God the Father is

  • Who Jesus Christ is and what He did for you

  • The role of the Holy Spirit in your life

  • Finding your identity in Christ

In addition, the gospel is woven throughout the book. The gospel of Jesus Christ saves people and God's Word "never returns void" (Isaiah 55:11). Therefore, this book is full of Scripture. Let it wash over you and "transform your life by the renewal of your mind" (Romans 12:2).

Unfortunately, mental health is a huge issue in today's society. Our younger generation especially struggles with anxiety and depression. Christians are not immune to these issues. But God has the power to bring about change. He is the Great Physician.

If you know someone who struggles with thinking rightly, then this book is for them. Suggest it, gift it to them, or offer to go through it with them as a Bible study. If you find yourself worrying and fearful, even if you would not categorize it as anxiety or depression, then you, too, will find this devotional a great resource as you remind yourself of truth.

You can purchase it through this link on Amazon. I also created an accompanying journal in which you can take notes, answer all the "Thoughts" questions, write out your prayers, and more. It is not mandatory to purchase but would be a dedicated journal for this study. It is not quite available on Amazon yet but should be in the next day or two.

I wanted you to be one of the first to know about my newest book. I appreciate your support in the past and look forward to seeing what the Lord does with this project.

God bless!
